    Hornet Juice & The Beast

I mix Hornet Juice with water or sports drink on an empty stomach half an hour before training. In general it helps with me endurance and energy levels. With Hornet Juice I have better recovery time, less muscle soreness and have noticeable body fat loss. I swear by the effects and benefits of Hornet Juice....and I have not been paid in any way to say that.

I find that Hornet Juice is a great lactic acid buffer. I am able to throw more punches without the "burn". I feel a constant flow of energy. I am able to recover quickly when "hurt" in a fight. I believe that Hornet Juice was a viable factor in my ability to recover and score a tenth round KO over Vinny Maddelone on ESPN 2. Also, it is a legal substance. I have never tested positive for any banned substances, and I always drink Hornet Juice prior to fights.

Who is Brian "The Beast" Minto?

Born on 27 January 1975, Brian Minto, the rising star of the big boy division, is climbing the heavyweight ladder and leaving a path of fallen foe behind him. First a collegiate football player then a cable company worker and now blasting his way into national spot light, this heavyweight hopeful is electrifying fight fans with some of the most intense highlight reels a fight can offer. Brian entertains, he is always ready for a throw down and is now prepared to storm the division and earn the title of heavyweight champion of the world.

    Brian Turns Pro

The former high school football stand out competed as a NCAA collegiate football player as a line backer, attending Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, PA. Brian dabbled in the 'sweet science' as a youngster and after his college years ended in 1996 he went back to fighting in the amateur class. Brian completed his stint in the amateurs with a record of 15 wins and 3 losses. In 2002 twenty eight year old Minto entered the professional ranks in stunning fashion by knocking out West Virginian, Leroy Loscar in the second round.

    Brian Turns Heads

The busy boxer threw down on nine occasions in 2003 and again in 2004, which would turn out to be a break-out year for the Butler born brawler. In April 2004 Minto defeated Jeremy Bates, earning him the vacant West Virginia State heavyweight title. Being able to fly under the radar as just another prospect was all about to change for Minto as he climbed through the ropes on a hot July night at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ. Brian stepped in against the once-beaten, rough and tough New Yorker, Vincent Maddalone (27-3) for what is now considered a classic fight. In the first round Minto got up off the canvas to wage war against the power puncher for ten rounds. Behind on the score cards Brian caught Maddalone with a vicious right hand that put Maddalone down on the canvas and out for the count.

In December 2004 Minto fell to his one and only defeat, when he was up against the former heavyweight champion Tony Tubbs, losing out by a close split decision. A disappointing loss for Brian, but being the champion hearted fighter that he is, he picked himself up and went straight back to the winning business. Just ten months after their first memorable meeting Brian went toe to toe once more against Vinny Maddalone, this time beating his old foe in seven rounds in another crowd pleasing and TV friendly fight.

The Beast is Busy in 2006

In 2006 Brian banged out two wins, which were televised on ESPN2. He pounded out an eight round unanimous decision victory over the tough journeyman, Billy Zumbrun. Brian then went head to head against the once beaten Danny Batchelder (24-1), out-punching, out-working and generally out-classing him in ten rounds, finally winning via a unanimous decision. In his last outing on 11 August 2006 at the Mountaineer Race track in Chester, WV, Minto destroyed the tough, all-round journeyman, Andy Sample in just 37 seconds of the first round. Rocking, dropping and stopping Sample with a four punch combination to the body, Brian put the Kansas native to sleep with a ferocious finishing uppercut.

Brian is looking for a high profile match in either November or December 2006 against either notable heavyweight Evander Holyfield or German Luan Krasniqi, or a cruiserweight clash with Antonio Tarver. Minto states, "I'll be a free agent in October, and I'm looking to fight whoever can get me closer to a world title shot, even if that means going to Europe. I've become fully consumed with bringing all the heavyweight belts back to the United States where they belong. I won't let anyone stand in my way."

    Brian Minto the Family Man

Notwithstanding Brian's success in the ring, which is projected to continue, the brightest accolade in his life is his wife of five years, Heidi, and their two beautiful children. He is a devoted family man and committed Christian who puts food on the table using the “sweet science”. This man, husband, fighter, former football stand out and cable company worker looks forward to adding to this list the title of world champion.

The team at Hornet Juice wish Brian all the best in achieving this fantastic goal and will continue to support his quest to be the heavyweight champion of the world.
